The BoatSense devices in the Province of South Holland have been serviced and are completely ready for the new sailing season. With BoatSense, Mobility Sensing monitors all main waterways for the province. The sensor technology not only provides a complete picture of the number of vessels on the waterways but also monitors the length, speed and direction of the vessels. Soon the first solar variants of BoatSense will be installed on various waterways in South Holland. This gives a continuous overview of the number of vessels on the waterways and to which bridges these vessels are en route, even in the more remote waterways. The realtime and historical data collected from BoatSense are clearly presented in a web dashboard.
